With over 17 years of clinical experience, Bull Creek Counselling Centre provides professional therapy and counselling services in a supportive, structured environment. Our mission is to make quality mental health care accessible, offering services at competitive, discounted rates.

Sufya also offers clinical supervision for levels 1,2 and 3 of the ACA (Australian Counsellors Association) and counsellors.

In our practice we can help young people and their parents to establish greater bonds, manage challenging behaviours and identify and stop family violence. Our approach combines a range of tailored interventions designed to enhance skills and foster positive change. We focus on improving relationships across all dynamics, empowering individuals and families to rediscover their potential and lead fulfilling lives.
We also support personal growth, helping you build confidence, develop self-efficacy and find deeper meaning in your life.
To make our services accessible and convenient, we offer home visits, after-hours appointments and assistance with health insurance claims for eligible clients through partnerships with 12 different providers.
In addition to her counselling practice, Sufya shares her knowledge by guest lecturing for international students at the Institute of Kashefi through online platforms. She is also well-versed in supporting individuals overcoming substance abuse challenges and assisting their families in addressing codependency issues.
Who is Sufya Nahid?
Sufya Nahid is the founder of Bull Creek Counselling Centre and a highly regarded member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). With over 17 years of professional experience, she has earned recognition for her commitment to excellence, including a 10-year loyalty award from an NGO.
Sufya specialises in relationship and family therapy, positively transforming the lives of countless couples and families. Her expertise also extends to working with children through play therapy, an area where she has made a significant impact over her extensive career.
Her academic achievements include a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (formerly Applied Psychology) and a Bachelor of Counselling from the University of Notre Dame, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Family and Relationship Therapy from an accredited institution. She has also undertaken additional training in mental health with the Australian Medical Association.
Sufya’s experience spans various areas, including drug and alcohol rehabilitation, disability services, family and couples counselling, and individual therapy. She has collaborated with mental health agencies, and therapeutic communities, and now leads the dedicated team at Bull Creek Counselling Centre.

Bull Creek Counselling Centre is a rapidly expanding after-hours counselling service dedicated to providing accessible support for those with busy schedules. To ensure convenience for our clients, we are open seven days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
